Dracula's Lair 2026: A Haunted House Dance Party in New Hope, PA

3 min read

This Halloween, Roxey Ballet is turning its New Hope home into Dracula's Lair: Immortal, an hour-long Halloween night out that is part costume party, part haunted house, and part live dance performance. It runs for just four nights, October 23, 24, 30 and 31, and every tour is capped at 35 guests. Here is everything you need to know before you go.

What Is Dracula's Lair?

Dracula's Lair is a haunted house unlike any other in Bucks County. Instead of actors jumping out of the dark, the story is told by the professional dancers of Roxey Ballet, who bring the legend of Count Dracula to life just inches from you. Along the way you will walk past authentic vampire hunting relics on loan from the VAMPA Vampire and Paranormal Museum in Doylestown, home to one of the largest collections of antique vampire killing sets in the world.

It is spooky, theatrical and genuinely beautiful. It is also a no-touch experience, so the chills come from the shadows, not from anyone grabbing you.

Your Hour in the Lair

Each Dracula's Lair ticket gets you a full hour of Halloween:

  • A 30-minute Halloween dance party. Music, costumes, and a room full of people who love Halloween as much as you do. Grab a drink, show off your costume and dance before you head into the dark.

  • The Blood Bar. Red wine for the grown-ups, plus sinister seasonal treats for everyone.

  • A 30-minute haunted tour. A guided walk through candlelit halls and shadowed chambers, past real vampire relics, ending in the Grand Chamber with a live dance-theater performance of the Dracula story.

Come in Costume

Costumes are strongly encouraged. Vampires, victims, vampire hunters, Victorian mourners, or whatever haunts your imagination, this is the night to wear it. Costumes make the dance party more fun and your photos in the Lair even better. Just keep masks easy to see through, because the halls are lit by candlelight.

Dates, Times and Location

  • Dates: Friday, October 23; Saturday, October 24; Friday, October 30; and Saturday, October 31 (Halloween night)

  • Tour times: 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 PM

  • Group size: 35 guests per tour

  • Where: Mill Ballet School, 46 N. Sugan Road, New Hope, PA 18938, just across the river from Lambertville, NJ

  • Tickets: From $37

Because every tour is kept small on purpose, nights fill quickly, and Halloween weekend always goes first. Reserve early to get the time you want.

Who Is It For?

Dracula's Lair is recommended for ages 8 and up. It works beautifully as a date night (the Blood Bar helps), a night out with friends, or a family Halloween tradition for kids who are too old for trick-or-treating but not ready for the gory haunts. The venue is ADA accessible.

Bringing a group? Parties of 10 or more can call 609-397-7616 or email info@roxeyballet.org about a group rate. Scout troops, friend groups, office outings and dance families are all welcome.
