Marketing/PR Coordinator

Roxey Ballet seeks Marketing / PR Coordinator

Roxey Ballet, a world-class, non-profit dance company located in Lambertville, New Jersey, seeks a part-time Marketing Manager.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for promoting the Roxey Ballet company, events, and performances while working alongside an outstanding team. The Marketing Manager must have a passion for the arts and for promoting an awareness of dance to the greater community. Local and regional awareness a key element.

Successful candidate must be organized, enthusiastic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have previous experience in marketing, events sales administration, and public relations.

    •    Create and edit all marketing materials and maintain strategic objectives
    •    Track ticket sales, promotions, and press opportunities
    •    Write and coordinate press releases, pitches, and cultivate media relations
    •    Provide marketing support to the Outreach and Education Coordinator
    •    Maintain and build spreadsheets
    •    Promote group sales and fundraiser opportunities
    •    Update content on website and blogs on a regular basis
    •    Write engaging content for e-newsletters and outlets
    •    Coordinate a team of marketing volunteers
    •    Ensure that all internal and external measures follow company standards
    •    Other duties are assigned as needed


Candidates must have experience using social media platforms. Candidates must have familiarity with MS Office, including Word and Excel. Design and photography experience are a plus. Candidates must have flexible hours.

Lighting / Production Assistant

Lambertville-New Hope-Trenton area dance organization Roxey Ballet is seeking a part-time Lighting Assistant with strong production background. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience and an emphasis on lighting, patching, programming, Load Schedules and design, implementation. Duties include supervising load in and load out, and supervising hanging of drops and set construction. Candidate will design, focus, and cue lighting; manage timelines with a smile; and manage volunteers, rental of equipment, and all transportation of gear when needed. Roxey Ballet is a professional ballet company located in Lambertville, NJ who offers a wide variety of educational programming to schools in the surrounding area. We are currently seeking an entry-level intern interested in exploring educational bookings in a professional arts setting to join our team!


  • Maintain an active database of local school administrative leaders

  • Assist Director of Education in pitching Roxey Ballet programs to key school decision makers via email, phone calls, and personal visits

  • Communicate any potential bookings with Director of Education

  • Represent Roxey Ballet in a professional manner

Marketing Intern


Roxey Ballet of Lambertville, New Jersey, is seeking a Marketing Intern for the Fall 2017 season. Candidates who are interested in exploring performance bookings in a professional arts setting are encouraged to apply.


The marketing intern will be responsible for reaching out to regional organizations alongside the Marketing Manager and assisting the Marketing Manager with the general PR and media needs of Roxey Ballet.

Additional responsibilities may include:

-Maintaining an active database of local performance venues
-Assisting the Marketing Manager in pitching Roxey Ballet programs to regional venues via email, phone calls, and personal visits
-Communicating any potential bookings with Marketing Manager
-Representing Roxey Ballet in a professional manner
-Completing other tasks as assigned


-Detail Oriented
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive
-Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a plus
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-A desire to gain experience in nonprofits, arts, and arts administration
