Trainee Program Auditions 2026
The Roxey Ballet in partnership with the Mill Ballet School Trainee Program is a pre-professional track created to empower career-minded students. Dancers have the opportunity to train more intensely, work with various choreographers, receive professional development mentorship, attend invited rehearsals, and perform alongside the Roxey Ballet Company in select programs. From company rehearsals to professional development skills, this is an opportunity to dive deeper into the world of dance.
Roxey Ballet's Nutcracker Auditions
Join the magic of the holiday season and audition for Roxey Ballet’s beloved production of The Nutcracker! Auditions will be held on September 12, 2026 at the Mill Ballet School and are open to students ages 4 and up. Dancers will register and audition by age group, making the experience fun and welcoming for all levels. Simply fill out the audition form and submit the audition fee to reserve your spot.
Being part of a community production is a wonderful opportunity for young artists to grow in confidence, creativity, and teamwork while getting involved in the arts. Celebrate the joy of dance, make lasting memories, and help bring this cherished holiday tradition to life on stage once again!

Roxey Ballet, the region’s renowned professional dance company celebrating its 30th Anniversary Season, is seeking versatile, passionate, and dynamic dancers for short- and long-term contracts (18–45 weeks annually). We are particularly interested in New Jersey and Pennsylvania-based artists with strong backgrounds in classical ballet, contemporary dance, and theatrical performance.

• Take a full company class and potiential spend the day.
• Perform choreography and learn Roxey Ballet repertory.
• Participate in a brief interview and completed back round check.
Ladies: Please bring pointe shoes.

💼 Qualifications
• Professional training and performance experience in classical and contemporary ballet, modern, theater dance and improvisation skills
• Strong theatrical presence and versatility in a variety of styles
• Must enjoy working with children and comfortable in high-energy environments
• Experience in education and community engagement is highly valued
• Experience with inner-city youth, artists with disabilities, or inclusive programming is a strong plus
