Albany, NY — Trainee dancers from Roxey Ballet recently traveled to Albany, New York to participate in the prestigious Regional Dance America Northeast Festival, joining more than 17 pre-professional dance companies from across the United States in a three-day celebration of dance, education, collaboration, and artistic excellence.
Held at the historic The Egg, the festival brought together emerging dancers, acclaimed choreographers, and renowned master teachers from around the country for immersive classes, performances, networking opportunities, and creative exchange. Audiences were treated to an exciting variety of dance styles, technical levels, and innovative choreography ranging from emerging artists to works created by nationally recognized dance professionals and educators.
The experience offered Roxey Ballet trainees a unique opportunity to collaborate with peers from across the nation while experiencing the broader ecosystem of the professional dance world.
“Our trainees had an extraordinary experience learning, performing, and growing throughout the festival,” said Mark Roxey. “Programs like Regional Dance America help young artists understand the importance of teamwork, professionalism, collaboration, and artistic exploration while giving them exposure to some of the finest educators and choreographers in the country.”

New Hope, PA — Roxey Ballet invites families to step into the jungle for Mowgli’s Jungle Jamboree, a specially designed children’s event created with little ones in mind. Perfect for young audiences who may not yet be ready to sit through a full-length performance, this interactive experience offers all the magic of the stage in a fun, relaxed, and engaging format.
At Mowgli’s Jungle Jamboree, children will have the unique opportunity to meet their favorite jungle characters up close, collect autographs, and snap memorable photos. The event also features exciting excerpts from Mowgli’s Jungle Adventure, giving families a taste of the story through lively dance, colorful costumes, and playful storytelling.
"Designed to spark imagination and introduce young children to the joy of live performance, the Jamboree creates a welcoming environment where curiosity is encouraged and energy is celebrated. Whether it’s their very first theater experience or simply a chance to get a little closer to the action, this event promises smiles, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
