Lindsay Osten

Lindsay was born in New Jersey and began her training at New Jersey Dance Theater Ensemble and Dance Innovations. She attended a number of programs and intensives including Dance Italia, the Gibney Winter Study, LINK, and American Ballet Theatre. She graduated with a BFA in Contemporary Dance and a BA in Interactive/Digital Media from Indiana University in 2024.

During her time at Indiana University, Lindsay performed in several works choreographed by faculty and worked with artists including Stefanie Nelson, Elizabeth Shea, Beatrice Capote, Maya Orchin, Katie Phelan, and more. She also spent a semester studying abroad in Paris, where she was able to perform and explore her dance training in a new cultural and artistic setting.

Lindsay’s first professional opportunity was with Roxey Ballet, where she has been a company member for the past two years. During her time with the company, she has performed in works such as The Nutcracker (Sugar Plum Fairy, Arabian, and Russian), Carmina Burana,

Latin Creations by Giovanni Ravelo, Journey Back to the 80s, and more. As a choreographer, she has created works including Effigies in 36, Effigies in 41, and Ricordare, which have been presented at festivals such as the Illumination Series and the River Dance Festival.

Alongside her performance and choreographic work, Lindsay is passionate about the intersection of dance and media. She has served as an associate director for dance films, interned with Dance NJ, danced in music videos, and interned at the Vail Dance Festival in 2025. She returned to Lucca in 2024 as project manager for the Dance Italia Film Fest and has recently begun teaching at the Mill Ballet School.

Lindsay is thrilled to be with Roxey Ballet for the upcoming season and enjoys teaching and inspiring the next generation of dancers through residencies, dance classes, and mentorship.
