As Roxey Ballet celebrates its 30th Anniversary Season, we are thrilled to share three breathtaking works, including the world premiere of Artistic Director Mark Roxey’s newest creation, Jibaro—a dynamic work inspired by the spirit, traditions, and cultural heritage of Puerto Rico.

Latin Creations returns with renewed energy and vision. Choreographers and dancers take the stage to share their unique perspectives and lived experiences, creating an unforgettable evening of artistry and cultural exploration.

Directed by visionary Artistic Director Mark Roxey, the program features works by himself and Giovanni Ravelo- artists whose voices and movement styles bring depth and authenticity to this celebration of heritage and identity.

The evening includes three compelling works:

  • Frida Kahlo – inspired by the life of the iconic Mexican artist

  • Mary Luz – based on the writings of Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni

  • Jibaro – a  premiere by Mark Roxey exploring the traditions and cultural roots of Puerto Rico

Join us as we celebrate the richness of diversity, culture, and human expression through dance at Roxey Ballet’s Latin Creations.
