Hannah Harvey
Hannah began her pre-professional training at North Atlanta Dance Theatre under the direction of Michael Garrison. She attended summer intensives at The Royal Ballet School’s Upper School in London, Nashville Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet. After graduating high school, she joined Nashville Ballet as a trainee, where she performed Myrtha in the spring showcase. Over the next two seasons, she danced with Louisville Ballet, performing Principal Rose in Val Caniparoli’s The Brown-Forman Nutcracker, Soloist Shade in La Bayadère, and Zulma in Giselle.
From 2018–2021, Hannah performed with Lexington Ballet as a company member, where her roles included the Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, and Dew Drop in The Nutcracker, Peter Rabbit in The Magical Tales of Beatrix Potter, and Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She then spent four seasons with Chattanooga Ballet as a company dancer, performing works by choreographers such as Ingrid Silva, Silas Farley, My’Kal Stromile, and Dwight Rhoden. During her time there, she also danced featured roles in The Nutcracker, including the Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow Queen, Dew Drop, and Lead Coffee.
Outside of performing, Hannah enjoys teaching ballet and strives to create a classroom environment where all students can flourish. She is currently on an academic scholarship at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a degree in Data Analytics and Psychological Sciences. Hannah is excited to have been invited by Mr. Roxey to join the company!
