Luis Mulero

Luis Mulero (Delaware) began his training as a scholarship student at Wilmington Ballet Academy of the Dance, where he was a member of the student company and later co-directed the academy’s production of The Nutcracker. During this time, he also attended the Cab Calloway School of the Arts, majoring in both Music and Dance Theater & Performance, cultivating his dual passions as a dancer and musician.

Mr. Mulero has performed with the Wilmington Ballet and is currently an ensemble member of Sharing Our Legacy Dance Theater and an apprentice with Pieces of a Dream Dance Company. He serves as a Teaching Artist at the Delaware Center for Dance and is also a teaching artist in residence with Chrysalis Creativity in the Arts under the direction of Joan Wharton Phibbs, where he shares his knowledge and fosters creativity in community spaces.

In 2025, Mr. Mulero debuted a new solo work in collaboration with La-Chelle M. Dickenson at the River Dance Festival. With experience teaching the fundamentals of ballet and a deep commitment to education, he brings a unique perspective to his students by integrating the influences of Indigenous dance styles into classical and contemporary techniques. Through this approach, he aims to celebrate culture, expand artistic expression, and inspire the next generation of dancers.
