Tara Seymour was raised in New Hope, PA, and trained at The Mill Ballet School from age five to her graduation in 2008. With Roxey Ballet she performed in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty Act III, The Pied Piper of Hamelin, Peter and the Wolf, Carnival of the Animals, and Graduation Ball, in addition to numerous choreographic showcases in New Jersey and Boston through the exchange program with Northeast Youth Ballet. A member of Roxey Ballet II for five years, she then attended Wake Forest University, NC, where she earned a BS in Chemistry, with minors in Biology and Dance. While a student, she also performed with Wake Forest University Dance Company in many pieces across the ballet, contemporary, modern, and jazz spectrum, including choreography by Nina Lucas, Christina Soriano, and Christopher Martin. Tara serves as education assistant to all Roxey Ballet’s education programming.
