Building Bridges Through Dance in
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility
Engaging Creative Inspiring
Founder, Executive and Artistic Director - Mark Roxey
“This company is all about the unexpected!” - Pointe Magazine
Roxey Ballet provided the Dance to Learn curriculum and Celebrating Diversity performances to our ESC students. They were quite receptive and participated enthusiastically in the
program. Our school provides educational opportunities to students with various disabilities, including those with emotional, behavioral, academic and physical limitations. Roxey Ballet provided our students with opportunities to take risks, promote creativity, and experience theatrical performances that would be unattainable in their home communities.
~ Louis Johnson, Principal
"It was absolutely amazing and very intense. We had front row seats which I would highly recommend. Super show, super talent."
- Tom Moncur
"Talented, expressive, energetic performers. Effects, staging, music all superb. Intimate venue makes you feel so immersed in the performance. Innovative choreography. I love the way the men have as much of a chance to shine as the women. So often, they function more as support for the ballerinas. Costumes are fabulous. Attention to detail. Just outstanding!" - Lori Carlin
Mark Roxey and the creative team took cancer survivors experiences and put them to song & dance, both the good and bad, conveying to the unknown a glimpse into the raw emotional and detailed life of a cancer victim. The dancers as young as they were tuned into our pain, strength, & struggle and able to convey beautifully. As a survivor, storyteller and participant in this, from start to finish it is an accomplishment I never expected, one I am extremely proud of and treasure deep in my heart.
