Studio Improvements/Moving Forward
Roxey Ballet is initiating a new era of dance, virtually with endless possibilities. We are athletes of the arts with determination, endurance, and drive. We problem solve and adjust our mode of operation as needed. We are creating solutions and this pandemic has opened up new ways of reaching our community allowing audiences to enjoy our programming from the comfort and safety of their home or witness it in person.
To this end Roxey Ballet has made significant improvements to the studio. Courtesy of the Cultural Trust grant through New Jersey State Council on the Arts and a Program Support Grant from CARES Act to organizations that experienced financial hardships due to Covid-19 funding from New Jersey Council for Humanities, through the National Endowment for the Humanities; Roxey Ballet has built risers that fold into the wall behind our ballet barres, installed new ADA double doors and new flooring, and built new props storage for ballet balls.
Over the next few weeks we will solidify our season of programming and share with you our exciting new options for reaching our community. Creating viable film/video/interactive systems with our current performance model is exhilarating and expensive. In order to transition our program offerings we need support from our community, businesses, and funders.
Please support us as we have supported our community for the past 26 years. The arts are instrumental to a healthy society. It’s as simple as making an introduction to a friend or colleague, inviting 5 people to watch us in action, or making a tax deductible donation.
We need your help, the time is now!
