Roxey Ballet add Erin Dowd to its Roster of artists.

Roxey Ballet adds Erin Dowd to the 2013/14 roster of artists. Erin Dowd is originally from Livingston, NJ. She graduated summa cum laude from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in May 2012 with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and an additional major in Psychology. While at Rutgers, she had the opportunity to perform the choreography of guest artists, including Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak, Doug Elkins, and Stuart Loungway. She also worked with faculty members Randy James, Kim Gibilisco, John Evans, Jeff Friedman, and Wallie Wolfgruber. Erin performed work of Merce Cunningham at The Joyce Theater presented by Rutgers in New York in May 2011. Most recently, Erin has participated in Cunningham Fellowship Workshops, learning Merce Cunningham's Place, Scramble, and Pond Way. This will be her first season with Roxey Ballet and you see her first performance at Roxey Ballet's Dracula in October.
