Sigrid Glatz, from Austria, received her ballet education at the State Ballet Academy Berlin, where she graduated with aBachelor of Arts. She received the Diploma for State Certified Stage Dancer in classical and modern ballet. In the course of this education, under the direction of Gregor Seyffert (who was nominated as world’s best dancer in 1997) she got to dance at the State Opera House Berlin in the ballets such as: "Midsummer Night’s Dream“, "Le Sylphide“ , and "Ravel's Bolero“. With the variation of the "Lilac Fairy“ she was selected as a finalist at the ÖTR- international ballet contest in Vienna and also at the Premio Excelence Contest in Italy. She received her music education at the Conservatory Graz with a major in piano and minor in singing.  She completed professional development at the Bolshoi Academy Moskow, the Joffrey Ballet School New York City, in Paris, and in Vienna and Bozen, Italy. In addition, she received the diplomas of the joint commission from the Vienna State Opera House.


From 2013-2016 she was taken under contract by the Roxey Ballet, where she performed in "The Nutcracker“, "Carmen“, "Dracula“, "Carnival of the Animals“, "Fall“ and more. In 2016, Sigrid returned to Austria to dance with their second-largest opera house: Grazer Oper. There she performed as a soloist in "Chess“, "Nutcracker and the Mice“, "Circus Princess“, "West Side Story“ and she was chosen to be the face of the opera house in "Klanglicht“.


She will be starting the current season 2017/2018 with the Opera "Trovatore“ at Opera House Graz before returning to the Roxey Ballet Company for the Nutcracker 2017.
