Cori Richards-Jones

Cori Richards-Jones graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and began a career in fashion forecasting shortly after. After completing 2 successful internships with Gap she began working with the Concept, Color, and Print team in the apparel division at Victoria’s Secret Direct. In her 11 years with VSD, ultimately as the Director of the Fashion Office, she traveled the world and reported on relevant trends. Following VS, Cori spent 3 years at Global Brands Group working as the Fashion Director with a focus on Concept, Color, and Print for brands owned by retailers such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, Sears, and Walmart. After 14 years with corporate retail brands, Cori co-founded her own business, Textiletribe, an online service for fashion designers selling original and vintage print artwork, curated within inspiring fashion stories. She then moved on to work as a copywriter for the swimwear line Tropic of C, creating content for the homepage, e-mail, and SMS campaigns, and partnering with the social media team to ensure cohesive messaging. Now as the Director of Marketing for Roxey Ballet and The Mill Ballet School, Cori is bringing her 22 years of experience in creative storytelling to the company and school to find new ways to share what makes them unique. She is a parent of a current Mill Ballet student and loves participating as a volunteer in Roxey ballet productions. Cori has lived with her husband, daughter, and son in the heart of Lambertville, NJ for the past 9 years after moving from Brooklyn, NY where she still visits frequently.
