Gia DiLisio

Gia DiLisio was born and raised in Swampscott, Massachusetts. She received her ballet training
at Northeast School of Ballet in their Trainee and Conservatory programs for thirteen years
under the direction of Denise Cecere. From there she moved on to train with the Oregon Ballet
Theatre School in their second company OBT2 for three years. Throughout her training, she
was able to learn and perform the repertoire of world renowned choreographers including Ben
Stevenson, Mark Godden, Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, and George Balanchine. Gia also was able
to receive additional training at summer intensives including Charlotte Ballet, Alonzo King Lines
Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Chautauqua Dance Program. This will be her first season
as a company artist with Roxey Ballet and she will also serve as the company's Education Associate.
