CYDNEY BRONSTEIN

A Connecticut native, Cydney began studying dance at the age of three. At fourteen she had the privilege of being selected by former ABT soloist, Christina Fagundes, to train privately. She has attended the following schools and summer programs: Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, The Rock School for Dance Education, Festival Ballet Providence, Valentina Kozlova's Dance Conservatory New York, The Boston Conservatory, The Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory and Ballet Austin. In 2012, Cydney was invited to attend The Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory on scholarship. During her time she danced roles such as: Raymonda, The Dew Drop Fairy in The Nutcracker and Marigolds by Momix. Upon graduation, Cydney was selected as a trainee with Festival Ballet Providence. During her two seasons with Festival she had the privilege of dancing in Swan Lake, Firebird and even was selected amid her first season for a new work. She has also spent her summers as a dancer with The Berkshire Choreography Project and creating new works in Martha's Vineyard. Before joining Roxey Ballet she had the pleasure of performing as the Snow Queen with The New England Ballet Company as well as The Viola in Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra. Her favorite role with Roxey Ballet has been Victoria Van Helsing in Dracula. Cydney would like to thank her family and friends for their never ending love and support. 

 

Dream role: Cinderella, Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland and to perform Trey McIntyre’s Blue until June
