Laurance James Corbertt
Laurance James Corbett began his training at The McDonald College and pre-professionally at Studio Tibor in Sydney, Australia. Whilst training he attended competitions such as the Sydney Eisteddfod, Alana Haines and Youth America Grand Prix. In 2014 Laurance joined Joburg Ballet as a Corps de Ballet member in Johannesburg, South Africa. His roles include Flower Festival Pas de Deux, The Nutcracker Re-Imagined, lead role in Adele Blank's Cross Dress and Hilarion in Giselle. In 2017 Laurance was promoted to Senior Corps dancing roles such as the Jester in Iain Macdonald's Cinderella, Matadors in Don Quixote, Pierre in La Traviata, Redha Benteifour's Whispers of My Soul and the Drunk Soldier in Angela Malan's The Nutcracker. Laurance has also attended Classical Ballet 121 under Gillian Revie's direction for a Summer Intensive training program. Laurance's joined Roxey Ballet in 2020.
