Celebrating Diversity: Educational Performances at Roxey Ballet
Lambertville, NJ - As Roxey Ballet begins its 23rd year of dance, the nonprofit organization revitalizes its signature assembly program, Celebrating Diversity. Celebrating Diversity is Roxey Ballet's anti-bullying performance. It has received the NJ Governor's Award for Artistic Excellence and was performed at former President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2008.
The performance goes beyond traditional ballet

Christina Holl began her dance training under the direction of former Broadway actress Alison Gertner-Mann at the Center for Music, Theatre, and Dance in Jackson, New Jersey. Holl recently graduated with honors from Montclair State University (MSU) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Tuiana Balzhieva graduated ballet school in Russia at L.P Sakhyanova. She was accepted to Buryat State Opera and Ballet Theater where she became a young soloist dancer. Azusa Okamoto was born in Japan, began her training at the age of three. She studied at Fukutani Yoko Ballet Studio in Kyoto, Japan. Katio Yamamoto will be joining Roxey Ballet this season. Kaito Yamamoto was born in Hokkaido, Japan. He received his early training at Midori Okajima Ballet studio and Kanako Sakai Ballet studio in Japan. At age 18, Kaito Yamamoto began his training at Gelsey Kirkland Academy of classical ballet in 2013. This season, Nerea Barrondo will be joining Roxey Ballet Company. Nerea Barrondo was born in Bilbao, Spain. She received her early training at Igor Yebra's Ballet Academy were she was trained by Anna Generalova (a graduate from the Vaganova Ballet Academy) and the Royal Conservatory of Dance Mariemma in Madrid. The Roxey Ballet Company Announces Open Auditions for Nutcracker, Ages 4-18
Lambertville, NJ – The Roxey Ballet Company has announced open auditions for "The Nutcracker". Open auditions are held in Roxey Ballet's Canal Studios on September 9, 2017. Area dancers ages 4-18 are encouraged to attend.
