Lecture Demonstration Series


Roxey Ballet's lecture series presents a challenging body of repertory that includes classical works as well as original pieces. All of Roxey Ballet's Educational Programs are designed with the New Jersey State Core Curriculum Standards (Performing Arts) in mind. All programs are geared toward grades K-12 or College level and always modified for each age group that is served. The actual performance length vary from 45-60 minutes. A representative from Roxey Ballet will work cooperatively to create a specific program that fits your individual goals and budget.

ONE-ON-ONE MENTORSHIPS


Roxey Ballet II creates a venues for 14 young aspiring dancers to be mentored by prestigious teachers, choreographers and professional dancers. The dancer receives counseling, personalized coaching, career guidance and one on one mentoring in all areas of the performing arts, including college placement, career placement and resumé creation. 6 inbound choreographers mount work on the dancers each season.


Artist In Residence


For over a decade Roxey Ballet has been dedicated to arts literacy through partnerships in education, educational classes, workshops, master classes,seminars and curriculum integration in collaboration with classroom teachers. Residencies offer students the unique opportunity to interact with professional dancers while affirming the relationship between the arts and education. All dance/curriculum integration is tailored to you school particular student body. One day to 1 year residencies are available. Sample Themes are available upon request.


Dance programs for people living with disabilities.


In its 18th year, “Wheels in Motion” dance program and performing group fall under the Roxey Ballet's umbrella program "Total Dance Access"

The Wheels in Motion dance program was founded in 1994 by Mark and Melissa Roxey. This teaching, mentoring and performing project provides a vehicle for people of all ages and abilities to explore the art of dance regardless of individual disabilities. A teaching team of professional artists work with students of all ages and levels to unleash the artists within. The professional dancers of Roxey Ballet act as the vessel for creation and the student begins......
